Doctoral School of Matematics

Ovidius University of Constanța obtained the status of a doctoral studies organizing institution in the field of Mathematics as early as 1992. In 2012, the Doctoral School of Applied Sciences was established, which included the doctoral field of Mathematics, and starting with the 2018–2019 academic year, the Doctoral School of Mathematics (DSMath) was founded.

The general objective of DSMath is to educate and train specialists of the highest academic level who will become autonomous, creative, and critically minded researchers, capable of designing and conducting original research based on advanced methods that contribute to the development of scientific knowledge both in specific areas and in the interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary fields in which Mathematics is situated and with which it interacts.
