Doctoral School of History

The Doctoral School of History at “Ovidius” University of Constanţa was established in 1990, when Prof. Adrian V. Rădulescu, Rector of the University and Prefect, was confirmed as its first PhD supervisor in the field of Geto-Dacian archaeology.

Since then, the program has evolved into a significant center for advanced research in history and archaeology.

Currently, doctoral supervision is provided by scholars specializing in ancient, medieval, modern history and archaeology.
