Doctoral School of Sports Science and Physical Education

The Doctoral School of Sport Science and Physical Education (DSSSPE) was accredited within Ovidius University of Constanța in May 2023 and organized its first admission for the 2023–2024 academic year.

The DSSSPE offers doctoral candidates the opportunity to pursue high-quality studies in Sport Science and Physical Education, to carry out scientific projects—including interdisciplinary ones—with national and international impact, and to develop research through ongoing collaboration with similar institutions in Romania and abroad.

The doctoral supervisors affiliated with the school demonstrate international visibility through their membership on the boards of professional associations, their participation in the organizing committees of international sports and artistic events and competitions, as well as through their roles as jury members or referees in international competitions. All scientific supervisors have an extensive publication record in journals indexed in Web of Science. At the same time, they serve on the scientific committees of international conferences and specialized journals.
