Doctoral School of Medicine

The Doctoral School of Medicine (DSM) has a respectable history that overlaps with the history of doctoral education at Ovidius University of Constanța (UOC): the first doctoral supervisors at UOC in the field of medicine were appointed in 2000. The DSM is embedded within one of UOC’s most high-performing faculties, the Faculty of Medicine.

In fulfilling its mission, the DSM provides the necessary support for the conduct of doctoral studies through innovative disciplinary and interdisciplinary research topics, modern and well-adapted research infrastructure, and a diverse, up-to-date training program based on advanced university studies. Doctoral supervisors enjoy international visibility, are highly committed, and carry out outstanding research activity.
