Main research areas:

  • Population biology: growth and senescence patterns in ectotherms; ecophysiological adaptations and resilience to environmental stress
  • Behaviour and communication in the animal world: using bioacoustic signals to study biodiversity, from individual to soundscape; behavioural responses to stress
  • Biological invasions: monitoring, impact assessment and management of alien species
  • Societal values and cultural drivers in biodiversity conservation

  1. 2023-2024: Grant Tinere Echipe AOSR-TEAMS II „O abordare metodologică integrativă pentru monitorizarea țestoasei dobrogene (Testudo graeca)”, finanțat de Academia Oamenilor de Știință din România (director grant).
